Ten Dollar Adventure wins the 2026 EIFLE Award for Children's Books

I am thrilled to share a major milestone today: Ten Dollar Adventure has officially won the 2026 EIFLE Award for Excellence in Financial Literacy Education!

The goal when building this project was to step away from traditional, lecture-based materials and engineer a genuinely experiential learning tool for early readers. By combining a branching narrative with physical, cut-out play money, we wanted to give children a tactile, hands-on way to experience cash flow, opportunity cost, and consequence management.

Seeing this approach validated by the Institute for Financial Literacy is an incredible honor. A huge thank you to the educators, parents, and young readers who have supported this journey and helped prove that learning about money can be a highly engaging adventure.
